Founded in April 2003, Changde Liyuan New Material Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hunan CORUN New Energy Co., Ltd. Located in No. 8 Songlin Road, Changde Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hunan Province, it is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of power battery base materials for energy saving and new energy vehicles (HEV nickel foam), battery base materials for energy storage (daily-use nickel foam), punched and nickel-plated steel strips, nickel strips, tin-plated copper strips, omni-directional conductive foam, tin-plated PI film and other products.

 

The “continuous strip nickel foam”, one of its leading products, is the first of its kind in China and has independent intellectual property rights. It has been listed as a national "863" major research project, a national key new product, and one of the first batch of "Hundred Billion Projects" in Hunan Province. The company has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the first prize of the Light Industry Science and Technology Progress Award. In addition, it has been recognized by the State Council as a strategic emerging industry. The company’s products meet international standards and are exported to Japan, France, Germany, the United States, and other regions. Major clients include: Toyota (Japan), FDK (Japan), Panasonic (Japan), SAFT (France), VARTA (Germany), PowerGenix (USA), Unipack (USA), and GP (Hong Kong). Currently, the company has become a leading enterprise in China’s base materials for power and energy storage batteries for energy-saving and new energy vehicles and power batteries for energy storage.

 

The company has been awarded titles such as "National Green Factory", "National-level Specialized and New “Little Giant” Enterprise", "National Manufacturing Single Champion", and "New Materials Enterprise in Hunan Province”. As of now, the company has been granted 47 patents, including 32 invention patents and 15 utility model patents.
